- SCCA,
NASA, and the Touring Car Club are just a few of the many organizations
that organize affordable track events for motorsports enthusiasts.
In addition to the links on this page, you might also wish to
contact local Mustang SVO owners who you know have experience
in track events as they are often eager to share stories and
help newcomers. You may also wish to contact local tracks which
often rent to larger clubs that open their events to additional
participants no matter the marque. Often times such low-cost
events are work-and-drive, where you help out before, during
or after the event but still get plenty of track time. These
arrangements help keep the costs to a minimum. In most cases,
you can have weekend fun for less than $100 per day, and drive
your SVO the way it was meant to be driven!

- Keep
in mind that you should always drive responsibly, and safely.
Wear a currently-rated safety helmet. Make sure your vehicle
is in good repair, and ready to pass a tech inspection.

many tracks are driving schools, and you may find it fruitful
to enroll in one or several courses to help you optimize the
experience and safety you have behind the wheel of your Mustang
SVO either on the track or on the highway.
